Hi there. I’m Gypsi. I am a first-time mom and a long-time vegan here to share what I have learned over the years. I have been vegan since 2005, which has been such a crazy journey. I have loved to cook and create ever since I was a kid. The only difference between now and the mini chef I used to be is that I have swapped everything out for its yummy vegan alternatives.
I started this blog initially to show vegans and non-vegans that this lifestyle can be a great balance between healthy and happy. There is nothing wrong with adding a little junk food into your diet. And you may be surprised to find that there are even some healthy options for creating your favorite junk food items.
I spent a good majority of my teens struggling with an eating disorder. I did not have a great relationship with food.
After the birth of my child, I was diagnosed with a disorder called PMDD. (An endocrine disorder.)
I knew that something needed to change. I really made it my goal to get my life on track and do all I could to be the best mom as well as my best self. I am now at the happiest and healthiest I have ever been.
